Project Area: WIRELESS POWER TRANSMISSION

Year: 2018 , Duration: 1

Abstract:

Wireless power transmission technology is an emerging field of energy transmission. Range anxiety is a prominent issue in the present world. Around 90% of the people are panic about the fear of losing charge on their phone. So a new and innovative product based on the wireless power transmission technology has been proposed to avoid such issues. Hence through this thesis an investigation has been carried out to find out the various coil parameters for the transmitter and receiver coils in the system. Then the results obtained were used to propose a proper design for a new wireless power transmission technology based product. Studies were conducted on various coil configuration like a single strand, flat wire and solenoid. And also common coil shapes were put to study like circular, rectangular and toroid. Then a 3D model of the proposed product is made with results obtained from the studies conducted. A survey was also done to understand, the market response towards the proposed product and 73% of the people turned up positive towards the product and are willing to buy the product. Finally a business model canvas for the product is also prepared.
